THE LEVEL OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) ON THE MEDIA PRACTITIONERS
This project basically took a critical look at “The Level of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Compliance Among Media Practitioners in using Oyo State Journalists as a case study with much emphasis on the positive and negative effects of ICT on the practice of traditional mass media today. Especially in sending and receiving information. The information technology including the internet which is embedded with some facilities or applications like: electronic mail, facebook, Google, yahoo, video conferencing, chart room, video phone and lots more including some software such as video and audio editing software and hardware have changed the conventional face and practice of mass media like: radio, television, newspaper and magazine not only in Nigeria but across the globe. The researcher use survey method and questionnaire to elicits responses from the selected respondents.
